About Internship

Introduction
The Summer Training and Internship Programme 2026 on Journalism & Mass Communication in Space Science and Technology is a unique initiative aimed at nurturing the next generation of science communicators and media professionals. Our programme is designed to bridge the gap between complex scientific advancements and public understanding by equipping students with the essential skills needed in modern science journalism and digital media. We focus on providing practical exposure and hands-on training in areas such as science communication, digital content creation, reporting, editing, and public engagement. With a special emphasis on space science, satellites, and emerging technologies, the programme enables participants to explore the rapidly evolving intersection of media and scientific innovation. Open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and research scholars from diverse backgrounds—including Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Science, and Engineering—the programme creates an inclusive learning environment for anyone passionate about storytelling and communication in the scientific domain. Our mission is to empower participants to transform complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging, and impactful narratives. Through this initiative, we aim to strengthen scientific awareness, promote informed public discourse, and contribute to the growth of science journalism in India.

Conduction Plan
The Summer Training and Internship Programme will be conducted fully online, ensuring flexible access for participants across the country. A dedicated WhatsApp announcement group will be created to share real-time official updates and important information.
Each participant will be provided access to a Learning Management System (LMS), where they can access lecture recordings, study materials, resources, and their individual programme details throughout the duration of the course.

Training Fee: ₹850/- (Includes expert-led instruction, administrative processing, training platform access, hard copy of the certificate, and postal & packaging charges)
